Brandi Torres joined PHCA in 2018 at our Big Bend Office. She brings over 7 years of experience in health care, including pediatric primary care and perinatal care of newborns of high-risk deliveries.
NP Torres received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2004) from University of Texas San Antonio and a Master of Science in Kinesiology (2009) from University of Texas El Paso. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing (2012) from Vanderbilt University.
Her areas of interest in patient care include breastfeeding, obesity, and the care of newborns and athletes. She recently received her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certificate and is looking forward to supporting breastfeeding moms.

She has been board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2012.
NP Torres is married with four children and they recently relocated from New York to Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and being active. She’s an avid CrossFitter and enjoys running 5k races, hiking, and getting involved in community activities. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and new foods.
