Brandi Torres joined PHCA in 2018 at our Big Bend Office. She brings over 9 years of experience in health care, including pediatric primary care and perinatal care of newborns of high-risk deliveries.
Dr. Torres received her Master of Science in Kinesiology in 2009 from University of Texas El Paso. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Vanderbilt University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins Unversity in 2020.
Her areas of interest in patient care include breastfeeding, obesity, and the care of newborns and athletes. She also received her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certificate and is looking forward to supporting breastfeeding moms.

She has been board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2012.
Dr. Torres is married with four children. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and being active. She’s an avid CrossFitter and enjoys running 5k races, hiking, and getting involved in community activities. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and new foods.
