Briana Jones, APRN, CPNP joined PHCA in October 2020. NP Jones is working alongside Ryan A. Baker, MD in providing developmental and behavioral pediatric services. As a nurse practitioner, she has worked in the specialty of neurology, including autism and pediatric epilepsy. She also worked in the Neonatal ICU and Pediatric Gastroenterology unit as a registered nurse.
NP Jones received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2017, both from University of South Florida. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior cum laude in 2010 from University of Florida.
NP Jones has been board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2018. Her interests in patient care include Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), ADHD, behavioral problems, and developmental delays.
“I have always known I wanted to have a career that involved children. Our children are the future leaders and we must provide them with the tools to be successful. It is my utmost desire to have a strong impact on our children through my work. I strongly believe a healthy body and mind work together to ensure a productive future.”
Outside of the office, NP Jones is a highly active member in her church and is part of numerous volunteer committees within the church. NP Jones is also a board member on the Board of Directors for Water Smart Tots, a non-profit organization aimed to decrease pediatric drowning.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, dog and family. She also loves to cheer on the Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
