Carlos J. Pagán, MD joined PHCA in 2019 at our Brandon Community Office. During his training, Dr. Pagán gained experience caring for children and infants in the PICU, NICU, newborn unit, medical-surgery unit and emergency room. He also completed his outpatient clinical rotation at our PHCA South Tampa Office.
Dr. Pagán received his Bachelor of Science in Biology summa cum laude in 2012 from University of Puerto Rico Cayey Campus (Cayey, Puerto Rico). He earned his Doctor of Medicine magna cum laude in 2016 from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and completed his pediatrics residency in 2019 at University of South Florida.
Dr. Pagán is board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics in 2019. His interests in patient care include childhood obesity and preventative medicine.

Dr. Pagán speaks Spanish and English. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He also enjoys swimming and traveling.
