To my PHCA families,

I am writing this letter to regretfully let you all know that I will sadly be leaving Pediatric HealthCare Alliance this upcoming Fall 2025. I will be moving back to my home state of North Carolina- while this will be a great move for my family, it is bittersweet.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have worked for such an amazing company, creating lasting rapport and relationships with all my wonderful patients and families over the past 3.5 years.

While I will be incredibly sad to part ways with the company, I have no doubt that all of my patients will be left in the caring, capable hands of my colleagues within the alliance.

I am leaving the company with nothing but amazing memories, and a majority of those memories were made with my pediatric patients. I want to thank all of the parents, grandparents and guardians who have entrusted me with their children's care for the past few years.

With love and gratitude,
Ryan Loflin, APRN

Nurse Practitioner Loflin joined our Big Bend team in Riverview, FL January 2022. This was actually a return to PHCA, as she previously completed her clinical preceptorship at our Big Bend and Fish Hawk Florida Offices.

She is originally from the mountain town of Boone, NC, and completed her nursing education in Nashville, TN. She became a Registered Nurse in 2020 and earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2021, both from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.

Nurse Practitioner Loflin has been board certified since 2021. Her areas of interest in patient care include lactation, helping first-time parents with any questions or concerns, and being an outlet for teens and mental health during their adolescent years.

Nurse Practitioner Loflin prefers using her middle name “Ryan”.  Outside of her time as an Nurse Practitioner in the Big Bend Florida office, she enjoys cooking and getting out on the ocean, and she is a big fan of our “Champa Bay” sports teams. She recently relocated to South Tampa where she loves walking her puppy Mako.

If you’re looking for a pediatric provider accepting new patients in the Big Bend and Riverview FL area, then Nurse Practitioner Loflin is a great choice for your child!
