Updated 2/17/2022: The following update was sent to patients with Humana insurance on Thursday, February 17 via email and text message. The original notice was sent to patients on December 13, 2021 by email, text message, and postal mail. This is a follow-up to prior communications about the status of our contract with Humana commercial plans. Those communications were sent to patients on December 13 and January 14.
Dear Parents and Patients,
We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Humana to renew our contract for their commercial plans.
This means that patients with Humana commercial insurance can continue with PHCA.
As a reminder, our contract with Humana Tricare is separate and was never affected by this renewal process.
We apologize for any inconvenience or hardship this may have caused. Unfortunately, these contract renewals are a necessary part of the business of healthcare and we make every effort to ensure as little disruption as possible for patients.
Our goal is always to ensure we can continue to provide the highest quality care to all PHCA patients.
